great club but let down by thugish doormen, i was there at the weekend when a scuffle broke out (started by what looked like underage drinkers) my boyfriend came to my defence only to be dragged into an emergency exit and beaten by the bouncers ( who 1st pulled out a metal bar but later decided to hit him and break his nose instead) a doorman should use restraint with people NOT beat them up.......thoroughly disgusted with the way they handled the situation

THE BIRDCAGE MANCHESTER
We were invited to the opening night, it is a stunning venue they have spent loads on the appearance of the place but the language of the female impersonators was very very strong using words like Cu*t and Tw*t !. The costumes were fine but the people performing, already do the drag circuit in Manchester so no extra quality in the performances or the DJ, NOTHING FRESH! The drinks in the club were flat, when I told the bar man he brushed it off, I was not impressed and went home! The same kind of entertainment is available for free in the village on Canal Street. The drinks are half the price in the village. If you do fancy good night we went to FUNNY GIRLS in Blackpool we found it much more entertaining.
